    CrossFit & HIIT Bingo Challenge

    Duration

    4 Weeks

    Best For

CrossFit boxes, strength gyms and HIIT studios

    Primary Goal

Increase Attendance + Build Community + Encourage Class Variety

    Overview

Your box already has an internal competition culture, which is exactly why a bingo board works differently here than at a Pilates studio. The leaderboard members don't need more motivation. The middle of your roster does — and a board is one of the few formats where the person doing scaled workouts three times a week can beat the regionals athlete.

The best CrossFit boards do two extra jobs. First, they push the work people skip: mobility, accessory volume, sleep, warming up properly. Second, they force cross-pollination between the 5am crowd and the 6pm crowd, which is usually where box community fragments.

Keep the squares specific and measurable. This audience will argue about whether a square counts, so write them so they can't.

    Goal

Build consistency across the whole membership, encourage skill and accessory work, and strengthen community between class times.

    How It Works

    1. 1Build a 5x5 board with 24 squares spanning attendance, skill work, accessory work and community.
    2. 2Members join and track progress on their phone.
    3. 3Coaches verify skill squares at the whiteboard; attendance squares mark automatically.
    4. 4Each completed line earns a milestone reward.
    5. 5Full board earns the grand prize, and completed lines add entries to the end-of-cycle drawing.

Gear rewards work exceptionally well in this audience — jump ropes, wrist wraps, knee sleeves and belts get used daily and turn winners into walking advertisements.

    Promotion Ideas

    • Put the board on the whiteboard wall where everyone already looks.
    • Have coaches verify and announce completed lines during class briefs.
    • Post the leaderboard of completed lines weekly — this crowd responds to it.
    • Use the box's group chat or app announcements for mid-challenge nudges.
    • Add QR signage by the check-in desk and the rig.

    Tips for Success

    • Write squares so precisely that nobody can argue about whether they count.
    • Include accessory, mobility and sleep squares — the board is your chance to reward what people skip.
    • Make several squares require training at a different class time or with a different partner.
    • Use milestone rewards so mid-pack members stay engaged past week two.
    • Run it over a full four-week programming cycle so benchmark squares fit naturally.
